To be fair, I think this was a comedy that aged horribly. Any time you deal with a film of that genre from at least a generation ago you are really gambling with jokes and setups that may not be relevant anymore or even just misunderstood.
That said, there weren't many things that I enjoyed about this--from the dark lighting to Tom Hanks' mailed in performance and frequent lack of pants.
I do have to disagree and say that Corey Feldman added to the quality of the half-serious issues. The guy that played Art was also funny at times.
Great podcast, guys. And Pat Miller, you really brought your 'A' game tonight...a studly fantasy performance I must say.
